Ten on Tuesday - NaBloPoMo #4

Carole asked us this week about book series that we love.  I actually don't read series! I read the first in the Hunger Games and Twilight series, but that's it. So, I thought I'd write about what books that I 'm reading or want to read.

• A Fault in our Stars.  I'm pretty late to this party.  Still, my daughter has this book and I'm going to read it.
• Blue Plate Special. It's a memoir. It's about food.  My kind of read.
• Russ & Daughters.  It's a memoir. It's about Jewish food.  Ditto, ditto, ditto.
• The Burgess Boys. I was given this book from a friend at work.  I loved Amy & Isabelle and I bet I'll like this one too.
• The Art of Racing in the Rain.  It's been highly recommended.
• Fly on the Wall. A "YA (Young Adult)" book. I just finished We Were Liars by the same author.  It was terrific! So, I'm going back to the E. Lockhart well.
• Colleges that Changes Lives. My daughter is a junior and we are in that window. Love this book -- it's introduced us to some schools that I would not have otherwise thought of.
• In a Single Bound. I heard Sarah Reinertsen speak in June and she was phenomenalal. I look forward to reading more about her story.
• The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Another YA oldie but goodie.
• Overwhelmed.  Maybe the author will have the answer to how to get it all done.

I'm looking forward to seeing what's on everyone's lists.  Who know, maybe I'll get into a series after all.

I've never read The Perks of Being a Wallflower, but I bet I would love it!

Never been a series fan. You've got some nice titles there to check out.

I've got The Art of Racing in the Rain in my queue. Have you read Me Before You? It's excellent.
