For the past four years, my first post of the new year is a recap of the prior year. It's a tradition! So, without further ado, here's my 2009 in knitting:
3 hats
3 scarves
3 squares
1 pair of socks
1 dress (little girl)
1 sweater (child)
1 shawl
13 FOs total. While I was less productive than 2008, I'm happy with the results. In looking back, I'm pleased that it was a combination of knitting for me, for charity and for gifts. When I look at my pages on Ravelry and Flickr, I like my 2009 knits!
Let's take a look at the 2009 goals:
1. Continue to knit with handspun. Yes!
2. Make more handspun (spin more). I did spin, but not very often.
3. Knit another sweater for me. No!
As for 2010 goals, they are more knitting-background related:
1. Continue to work at knit photography.
2. Continue to put stash on Ravelry. I have a paper list, but putting it on Rav would be better.
Happy New Year! Hope your year is filled with love for knitting and knitting what you love!
Love those socks.
Happy New Year!

Being happy with what you did is the most important thing!
I love having my stash on Ravelry. It's so much easier than trying to rummage through bins to find things.

You knit some beautiful things last year. I have most of my stash on rav but I have some new things I need to add, too.

Seeing your Clapotis makes me think that should be my goal. I've had that in my queue forever!

All your knits are lovely.
I keep telling myself that I need to finish putting my stash on Ravelry, but it's such a daunting task that I haven't gotten around to it. I don't even have a list on paper; maybe that's a place to start.
Happy New Year!

Being happy with the results of your knitting is the ultimate goal. Your 2010 goals are really good ones.
